About Whistler Pride Festival
The Whistler Pride Festival is a winter Pride celebration taking place in January 24 – 31, 2027. Join us for a week of skiing, parties, events, community, and inclusivity in one of the world’s most welcoming mountain destinations. The festival builds on last year’s new festival approach and leadership, and more than 30 years of winter Pride in Whistler.
What to Expect
At Whistler Pride Festival, you can expect a mix of mountain adventure, community connection and vibrant winter nightlife. Jump into guided ski and snowboard groups, daily après gatherings, and an events lineup featuring drag, DJs, themed parties, wellness events, and women-focused experiences. The result is a winter experience that’s packed with fun and full of good energy.
The Location
Whistler Village venues will light up with celebrations, trivia nights, bingo, karaoke, and cultural events that make it easy to meet people and have fun. The festival’s signature moment, the Pride Parade and rainbow ski-out, brings everyone together for a celebration that feels unmistakably Whistler.
Organizers are focused on creating a more inclusive and connected festival, showcasing real Whistler experiences, and offering entertainment that ranges from free and friendly drop-in events to elevated nightlife with national queer talent and creative venue takeovers.
Whether you come for powder laps, après energy, late-night dancing, or community connection, Whistler Pride Festival blends winter adventure with Pride celebration in a way only Whistler can.
How the Festival Comes Together
The Whistler Pride Festival brings fresh energy to winter with a playful, inclusive experience built for good times. Tourism Whistler provides festival-wide oversight and support, while TFD Presents, a trusted 2SLGBTQ+ event producer with strong community roots, leads the design and delivery of events. The free daily Guided Ski Program continues under the leadership of John Sutherland and a rockstar team of volunteer ski and snowboard guides.
Together, they are shaping a festival that feels both professionally run and deeply connected to the community, with room to grow in meaningful ways.
Note: Since 2026, The Whistler Pride Festival has operated under new management and is not affiliated with the Whistler Pride & Ski Festival organization or the website whistlerpride.com.
